Terms of Use for Steadly

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Steadly ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and TechBasi LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

Steadly is a goal tracking and productivity application that provides:

  • Goal and journey tracking with milestone mapping
  • Task management and scheduling
  • Progress visualization and metrics
  • Daily reflections and journaling
  • Focus session tracking
  • Weekly planning and review tools
  • Collaborative shared journeys with other users
  • Cloud sync across devices
  • Customizable reminders and notifications

3. Account Registration

Creating an Account

You may create an account using:

  • Email and password
  • Apple Sign-In
  • Google Sign-In

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Guest Access

You may use the App without creating an account. Guest users have access to core features, with data stored locally on their device. Guest data syncs to the cloud under an anonymous identifier.

Account Linking

Guest users may upgrade to a full account at any time by linking an email, Apple, or Google sign-in. Your existing data will be preserved.

4. In-App Purchases

Steadly Pro

The App offers a one-time lifetime purchase ("Steadly Pro") that unlocks additional features. The current price is displayed in the App at the time of purchase.

Payment and Billing

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Payment terms, billing, and refunds are governed by Apple's terms. We do not directly process payments or store payment information.

Purchase Restoration

You may restore your purchase on any device by signing in with the same account used at the time of purchase.

5. User Content

Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you create in the App, including journeys, tasks, reflections, notes, comments, and any other user-generated content ("User Content").

License to TechBasi

By using the App, you grant TechBasi LLC a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, transmit, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and operating the service. This license exists only as long as your content remains in the App.

Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent that you have the right to submit any content you create or share through the App.

6. Collaboration and Sharing

Shared Journeys

You may invite other users to collaborate on journeys. When you share a journey:

  • Your display name and profile photo are visible to all members
  • Tasks, comments, and activity within the journey are visible to all members
  • Each shared journey supports a maximum of 5 collaborators
  • The journey owner controls membership and sharing settings

Invite Codes

Invite codes are generated to share journeys. Codes expire after 7 days and may have usage limits. You are responsible for sharing codes only with intended recipients.

Leaving or Removing Members

The journey owner may remove collaborators at any time. Collaborators may leave a shared journey at any time.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Post or share content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the App

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, interface, and all related intellectual property, is owned by TechBasi LLC and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control.

9. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Steadly is a productivity and goal-tracking tool. It does not provide professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to psychological, medical, financial, or career advice. Any decisions you make based on your use of the App are your sole responsibility.

We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TECHBASI LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF TECHBASI LLC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TechBasi LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. You may also request account deletion by contacting us.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
